The Kalamazoo Forensics Crime Lab has just arrived on scene to begin their investigation into this suspicious fire which destroyed five homes along W North Street near Woodward Avenue.

Picking up where @JournalistKyle left off this morning. The fire at the home on the corner of Woodward Ave and W North Street appears to be under control. Still smoking heavily as count over a dozen units at the scene ranging from Comstock Fire, Life EMS and KDPS.
Neighbors shared this video of the fire at the corner of W North and Woodward with me, taken around 11:30 last night.the flames shooting into the sky, above the tree line.
Kalamazoo Public Safety Assistant Chief Jeff Vanderwiere tells us five structures, (four abandoned) were all destroyed in last nights fire. One woman displaced, one fireman treated for heat exhaustion. At this time Vanderwiere says this fire is suspicious.

Protesters arrested in Detroit after defying curfew
There is a state of emergency in Kalamazoo County, as firefighters work to put out a fire they're calling suspicious nearby.
The second night of curfew has ended downtown Grand Rapids but it looks different than the first. Not only has the city added dump trucks, blocking major intersections, but @GrandRapidsPD has officers sitting outside their HQ to, "establish a visible presence" as well.
